CrossMath works like a crossword, but with numbers. Players build equations on the board using tiles, practicing all four operations. A guidebook adds game variations for different skill levels.

  • Two to four math fans can play, recommended from age 7
  • 120 number and operation tiles with four tile racks
  • A tile bag for drawing, and a game board
  • Parent and educator guide with extra activities
  • Builds mental math across addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

How it plays at home

Players draw tiles and look for ways to extend equations already on the board. You score by building correct sums, so mental math drives every turn. The guide offers skill-specific versions, which lets a child practice the operation they need most.

It works well at the kitchen table or in a classroom. Start with the addition-focused version and move to multiplication when things feel comfortable.

Gift

This was a gift but I am thinking about getting it again for my my own children. Keep the mind working on numbers is good for everyday life.

prone to damage and loss

It is made of cardboard and is prone to damage. I am Not very satisfied with this product. The numbers are also very small and easy to get lost.

Ok but not great fun

My granddaughters who are into math, 9 and 11, liked the game but it wasn’t loads of fun. I thought it was rather cheaply made and just ok. I think younger than 9 would find it hard to play.

Good Gift for 9yo Nephew

I actually got a thank you card from my 9 year old nephew for giving him CrossMath for his birthday. He said it was fun even though he thought it wouldn't be at first.

It doesn't add up to fun.

Rules of scoring are too complicated and playing instructions are poor.
