How it plays at home

At the start of the month, the family chooses a scene and picks four tokens, such as saying thank you, volunteering together, picking up litter or getting a full night of sleep. As goals are done, they are marked and talked about, and the journal captures what everyone learned.

It works for mixed ages and for teachers, with sticky notes and encouragement notes to leave for each other. Tip: let the kids choose some of the tokens, so they own the goals.
