Happy Marshmallow brings the campfire to the kitchen table. Each player draws a card, finds the marshmallow that matches and adds it to their stick, and the fun ends when every stick is full.

12 marshmallows and 12 matching marshmallow cards
2 roasting sticks, so two can play at once
A pretend campfire for the group toast at the end
Practices color recognition, turn-taking and following directions
Everyone wins together when all the sticks are full

How it plays at home

Draw a card, look at the color and slide the matching marshmallow onto your stick. That is the whole game, which makes it a gentle first step for a child who has never played anything with rules. Because the goal is shared, there is no sulking over who finished first.

When the last marshmallow is on, hold the sticks over the campfire and celebrate. Preschool teachers will find it fits small-group time well, and at home it makes a good before-dinner sit-down game.

A favorite!

Highly recommend! This was my son’s favorite game for weeks! He was 2-2.5 at the time. I bought it because I love board games and wanted to get him started. Well I unleashed a mini game fiend. Any time of day, we’d hear “marshmallows!!” And he’d unbox it immediately. We took it on a trip and he had the whole family playing over and over. It teaches color matching, hand eye coordination, and turn taking. He’s 3.5 now and he still brings it out every once in awhile. He’s moved on to more complicated games also by Miindware.

So glad I bought this!

I play this game with the kids at work almost everyday. It is SO cute, and it’s a super fun way to get kids matching their colors.

Cute toddler game!

This is such a cute game! Fairly well built, but I wish the fire was made of a durable plastic! Cute little marshmallows and my grandkids love to play this game!

Preschool teacher approved game!

Absolutely adorable, my 3-5 preschoolers loved this game. It’s great for introducing kids to group game activities. Great for building social skills, like waiting for a turn and supporting others. It’s also fantastic for identifying colors (provided in the game). It’s a matching activity and you can counting and more or less to add a math concepts. It also works fine motor as you string the marshmallows on to the skewers. The best part it comes with a little cardboard fire so they can roast their marshmallows. I ordered 3 sets so we can play it in a larger group. We also worked on communication skills as we strengthened our articulation “YEllOW”. My class is inclusive and all the children were able to play.

Breaks easily

My toddler loved the game, but after playing with it, only three times the roasting stick broke in half. My 3 year old daughter was left holding very sharp pointed stick. Poor design - Don’t waste your money.

Love this game for toddlers

Love this game for my 2/3 year old. It’s perfect for learning colors and practicing fine motor skills of taking the marshmallow on and off of the roasting stick.
