In Mistaken Identity you are handed a hidden character and have to figure out who you are. Every wrong guess earns you a new ridiculous behavior to perform.

24 identity cards give you a deep pile of characters to puzzle over
40 behavior cards supply the silly things you will have to act out
8 fake mustaches come in the set for a costume touch
Combines detective work with acting, so it suits both talkers and hams
Made for adults and tunable for a work party, bar night or friends at home

How it plays at home

Draw an identity without peeking, then ask the group questions to figure out who you are. Each time you miss, another behavior gets layered onto you, so you end up guessing while doing something absurd. Part of the fun is how well someone can commit to the bit.

The mustaches help get shy players into character. It runs best with a decent-sized group, and you can keep content light or push it further depending on the crowd.

Sexist?

Not sure why all the characters in this game are dudes (sort for the spoiler), but it seems like that was pretty unnecessary and made the game feel weird. It also felt like forced fun, if that makes sense. Like forcing people to laugh isn't as funny as it sounds. Would probably be fun for a bunch of really drunk people, but for a casual game night with friends it was pretty underwhelming. It was also way too easy. All 4 of us guessed who our characters were within 3 guesses.

Haven’t laughed this hard in ages

Bought this on a whim for a recent adult game night and it did not disappoint! We added a rule where you had to sip your glass of wine if you guessed incorrectly and before long we were all laughing until we were crying! Easy setup and all-around great fun!
