Math Sandwich turns counting into lunch service. Kids open their own sandwich shop, read the menu cards and stack felt ingredients to fill each order. Along the way they practice counting and basic addition.

Over 100 felt vegetable, meat and cheese pieces
10 menu cards give specific sandwich orders
Dry erase marker and guest check tablet for taking orders
Glassine envelopes for the finished sandwiches
Open-ended: kids can invent their own recipes as well

How it plays at home

A child plays the server, picks a menu card and counts out the right number of felt pieces. The guest check lets them write down orders and practice early number writing. When the menu cards are done, kids can make up their own sandwiches and add up the ingredients.

It is a good partner for pretend-play kitchens. Take turns being the customer, so the cook gets practice listening to orders and following directions.
