Q-bitz Solo shrinks the classic cube-pattern challenge into a tin you can slip into a bag. You get one tray, 16 cubes and 20 cards that do not appear in the original set. It is built for racing the clock by yourself or against a friend.

  • Tin includes 1 wooden tray, 16 challenge cubes and 20 pattern cards
  • Cards are new designs not found in the original Q-bitz set
  • Three fast rounds across three difficulty levels
  • Competitors race to copy a card first; most cards wins
  • Fits a classroom brain break or a road trip bag

How it plays at home

Pick a card, scramble the cubes and rebuild the pattern as quickly as you can. The more challenging cards ask you to rotate and plan before you place, so speed alone is not always the answer. Playing against a friend is as simple as having both race to the same card.

Teachers and parents like it as a quiet station activity because it needs almost no setup. Kids ages 8 and up can handle the harder levels, while the tin protects the cubes from getting lost. Tip: time yourself on the same card twice to see your own improvement.

Great for dementia sufferers

Great game to challenge my husband who has dementia. It’s difficult to find something a bit challenging but not overwhelmingly so. This fits the bill!

Puzzle Experience for All Ages

As an elementary teacher for decades, this game has been a winner for students with a wide array of learning styles. What I noticed most is how each puzzle helps the child build attention to task and detail, forcing them to take responsible risks to solve the puzzles - all the while building skills with spatial awareness. We created races and games from them. Great for at home too!

Wonderful for developing cognitive skills

I got this for my 3-year-old granddaughter to play with her daddy to help develop patterning and sequential skills. They love it! It must be adapted for such a young child but I wanted something that would grow with her. It was perfect!

Very fun

My grandson and I love playing this puzzle/game. We only had one puzzle and thought it would be more fun to have two in order to play against each other. So, I purchased this one. The only negative is I made the mistake of assuming this puzzle would be in a tin box like the first one. Unfortunately, it's a cardboard box. But the puzzle itself is just as good!
