This diary is a great quality product

This diary is a great quality product. The cover is sturdy and the paper thickness and lined pages are perfect. The lock is, of course, more for show. It is able to be unlocked easily with the standard key all these locks come with. I am just replacing the lock with another do that my boy truly has privacy to his thoughts. I am also adding 2 more locks.It's too easy to bend the sides up to read parts of the pages. If this item was produced more secure or with a combination lock, more would be purchased.

My 10-year-old son loves it!

I picked this up for my 10-year-old who struggles with his emotions from time to time. This journal allows him to write down his thoughts and keep them private. The lock on it provides him with an extra sense of security. It comes with two keys, so if you lose one, you'll have another one on hand. The pages are lined and large enough for him to write on. He has pretty neat handwriting, so for kids who write large letters, the lines might be too small. Overall, it's a great journal for the price, as he is happy with it.
