The Busy Busy Bake Shop smells wonderful, and one crafty mouse knows it. Players team up to set four donuts in a row before the mouse can run off with them. The wooden donuts and little tongs give small hands plenty to do.

  • Plays 2 to 5, ages 4 and older
  • 16 wooden donuts and a pair of donut tongs for picking them up
  • Two donut dice and one mouse die decide each turn
  • Counting, color and pattern matching, and simple strategy all come in
  • A game board and a mouse piece set up the chase

How it plays at home

Players roll the dice, grab donuts with the tongs and work out together where each one should go on the board. Meanwhile the mouse die can send the thief closer to the treats. The group wins if four donuts line up first.

Tongs are trickier than they look for new players, so let little ones practice before the first round. The game rewards talking to each other: someone should always be asking which spot to fill next.

Not much of a game

Bought for a 4 and six year old. They liked all the parts but the game was to general. No one wins there is really no point to it . Cute idea. Maybe giving it some rules . A reason to play. Winning is part of playing any game young or old.

Wonderful game
