If somebody in your house can recite facts about octopuses at dinner, this is their game. Animal Trivia Challenge turns that curiosity into three kinds of questions, with an easy side and a harder side on every card so mixed ages can still compete fairly.

Know It cards ask multiple-choice and true-or-false questions about animals
Name It cards show a picture and you identify the animal; Rank It cards ask you to line animals up by something like size
Every card is double-sided with a beginner question on one face and an advanced one on the other
Pick one level and stick with it all game, so an eight-year-old and a grandparent are on even footing

How it plays at home

Players answer the cards and earn survival tokens, with the die and pawns keeping the turn order moving. Because the level is chosen once for the whole game, you can seat different ages around the table and let each choose the side that suits them.

It works as a group game, and it also works alone: flip through cards on a rainy afternoon and see how many animals you can name. Tip: have the reader pause after a Rank It card and let everyone argue the order before checking, since the debate is half the fun.
