Building is fun, but knocking it down with a stomp is better. KaBlocks Blast lets preschoolers stack soft foam towers and then launch them skyward by stepping on a pad. No batteries, just a little kinetic force.

How it plays at home

Build a tower on the platform, then stomp the pad and see what happens. It gets little ones using both fine motor skills for stacking and big-body movement for the launch. It also works as a first physics lesson.

Try a short tower and a tall one and see which flies higher, then ask your child why. Play where there is some open space; foam is soft, but blocks do fly.

Such a fun toy! My son loves this toy! Beware kids will try to bounce everything. So far spiderman and his amazing friends have been added to the towers to fly as well as the paw patrol team.

Fun toy

This product is cute and within age range. However it's cheaply made and the surface of the toy can get easily damaged and therefore lose the ability to function. If the kids are rough, this toy may break fairly easily.. and given its function is to destroy the blocks, most kids using it might be rough to get the biggest effect.
