How it plays at home

A child who wants a space of their own will like the sense of ownership here. Secrets, doodles, autographs and glued-in photos all fit between the covers, and the lock keeps curious siblings out.

The book is compact enough to take to camp or a sleepover. Tip: agree as a family on a safe place for the key, so it does not go missing and so the diary stays private.

Worked perfectly as a journal!

• Headline: Use a descriptive, eye-catching title. • Background Story of Purchase: What attracted you to the product? • First Impressions/Product Packaging (not Delivery Packaging): How is the product packaging, is there anything unique about it? My young son decided he wanted a place to 'hide' his drawings and thoughts away from his siblings. Once we started on the hunt for something like that, all we could find were ones geared for girls. After seeing this one, we knew it was just the thing we were looking for! We got it in the mail, and it was shipped adequately, he took to writing in it right away. It is not used for anything particular, just fun. It is especially neat to him knowing he has a secret lock on it that 'no one' can get into! I think this is a great product for any kid (or adult) who wants a cool looking book to jot things down in. We would purchase again if the need arose. I think it could be used for journaling or drawing, just about anything and think its a great product! • Product Use — Include Facts: Describe your experience with the product. • Different Situation & Scenarios: Does your experience of the product vary across different situations? • Pros and Cons or Benefits of Product: Is there anything about this product that makes it different to others you’ve tried or any features that make the product shine? • Who might use the product: Who might this product be suited for? • Conclusion: Your final thoughts. Include anything else you think might help others make a decision on whether or not to buy the product.

My son loves it

He comes back to tell me that he is so excited to write down his day because of his new book. The book is sturdy and the pages give that old time diary look. It has a good enough lock to keep it safe. It’s worth it I would say. It’s the same colour as pictured and lots of pages. Valu for money🤗

Nice gift for children

I bought this for my 9yr old son and he LOVED it. He thought it was so cool. He doesn't really journal in it as I had hoped, he draws in it, but still very nice. He hides his key and changes the key location if he thinks anyone may have found it. He literally guards it like treasure because the journal creates this impression that whatever's inside is precious...even though after he draws something he comes and shows it to me lol. It's really awesome how he protects it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for other kids his age.

Good looking diary

I was super excited about this diary for my 8 year old son. It looks great and he really likes to use it, especially he loves the fact that he can lock it. However, the picture of the glowing in the dark is a little misleading. I had to charge it under really bright light for about an hour to get "glow in the dark" effect and the glow was really week compare to the one on the photo. I was unable to get any glow from just leaving it on the table in a regularly lighted room. The lock also feels a little flimsy from the perspective an adult, but my son likes it. I would say it's ok gift for good value if person on the receiving end didn't see the picture used to advertise it.

Perfect for a young child

We got this for our grandson who’s 7. Perfect for him and his “secrets”. The 2 keys are small so putting them on a ribbon, string, keychain, etc. helps to find them and make sure you keep one in a safe place in case the other one’s lost.
